Despite the coronavirus pandemic, Lisboa na Rua / Com’Out Lisbon will bring lots of fun to the streets of the Portuguese capital.
There will be no big stages or shows for thousands but rather small outdoor events, all free but with limited capacity.
Here are some of the highlights of this year’s edition of Com’Out Lisbon.
Lisboa Mágica (Magical Lisbon)
Find some of the most talented street magicians making numerous performances in the city’s gardens over six days.
25 – 30 August, several locations
Outro Olhar (Another Look)
Filthy Luker & Pedro Estrellas’ art interventions will take over Lisbon. Check out their fascinating inflatable works along the area of Saldanha, Avenida da Liberdade, Restauradores, Rossio and Cais do Sodré.
29 August – 29 September
Chapéus na Rua – Lisbon’s Busking Festival
Jugglers, acrobats, clowns, puppets, living statues will be found performing during the afternoon on the streets and squares of the parish of Arroios.
18 – 20 September, several locations
Lisboa Soa (Lisbon Sounds)
Lisboa Soa is back in 2020 with acoustic installations taking place across different locations in city.
24 – 27 September, locations to be announced.
