The MUDE museum celebrates design and fashion with a collection of 2500 pieces belonging to the art collector and architect Francisco Capelo.
Discover furniture and small objects from the 1930s to the beginning of our century, in addition to clothing, footwear and accessories that shape the history of fashion and design of the last three quarters of the past century.
Fashion lovers will not want to miss haute couture from the 1930s and 1940s, street fashion from the 1960s and brands from the 1990s. There are pieces of clothing by Alexander McQueen, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Paco Rabanne, Vivienne Westwood and many other fashion designers.
Highlights also include pieces of furniture by Arne Jacobsen, Charles and Ray Eames and Frank Gehry, as well as by distinguished Portuguese designers.
The museum has a café and a bookshop.
